Treatment procedure
Before the laser treatment, a cooling contact gel is applied to the affected area. The specialist then moves the laser device slowly over the treatment area, releasing one flash per treatment area. This light is emitted as a short pulse (similar to an LED light), bundled in a small lens and shot onto the skin, where it is then passed on by the individual hairs. The light pulse then passes under the skin into the hair root, where the light is converted into heat. This heat destroys the hair root from the inside so that it can no longer produce hair.
Foroptimum results, approx. 4-6 treatments must be carried out at intervals of approx. 4-8 weeks.

What do I need to consider before and after treatment?
At least 2 weeks before the treatment appointment, the hair should no longer be epilated or plucked, but only shaved. The treatment area should be shaved one day before the treatment.
Within the first week after hair removal, sun and solarium must be avoided.
Is laser hair removal painful?
Thanks to the cooling of the skin, the treatment is generally perceived as painless. A slight feeling of warmth, pinching or burning may occur depending on the area of the body.
Why are several sessions necessary?
Hair has 3 phases: The growth phase, the transition phase and the resting phase. The diode laser can only destroy hair in the growth phase, so we need several sessions as only 30% of the hair is in the growth phase and the growth cycle changes every 4-8 weeks.
